Quotes from attendees:

  • “I feel a new sense of purpose towards the campaign against substance abuse. I’m motivated to do more than tell a neighbor; I want to strengthen the campaign and I want to share with world the information on substance abuse.”
  • “It was great to hear the truth about drugs and know that I’m not alone in the campaign against drugs! I feel much more confident about talking to people about the dangers of substance abuse, thanks to the advice given today.”
  • “I loved the idea of ‘there is no reason why you should take drugs’. I’m ready to be a part of this campaign against drug by joining Paroche pathfinders.
  • I now know that once I believe in my dreams towards achieving a set goal, drugs won’t stop me.

Details of the event

We introduced Paroche to the school and her students, and we moved on to focused group where the facilitators where able to address the students directly.

In retrospect, we all gathered back together for questions and answers.
