The recent Covid 19 pandemic has led to serious health, and economic crisis in world, and so many individuals, and sectors are still trying to recover from its effects. The pandemic has led to increase in unemployment rate, depression, illegal and criminal activities among the youth, as Well as other social vices.
According to World Drug report 2021, “A lasting economic crisis may lead to increased participation in illicit drug cultivation, production and trafficking and may aggravate vulnerability to drug use disorders”. For this reason, there is a need address the economic crisis in the country, which is one of the root causes of the rise in abuse of Drugs, and illicit trafficking.
